When we first tasted Parainema Jaguar Presidential, it was a coffee that took our breath away. Its 96 SCA score placed it among truly exceptional coffees and made it one of the greatest jewels of Finca Jerusalén.
And this year, it’s back. The new 2026 harvest has once again achieved an outstanding score of 96 SCA.
This year’s Parainema Presidential brings a complex, elegant and beautifully balanced flavour profile. In the cup, the sweetness of sugar cane and delicate caramel comes through first, complemented by notes of almonds and milk chocolate. Juicy pineapple and orange form the fruity side of the profile, bringing freshness and beautifully balancing its sweet, full-bodied character.
The result is a coffee with a full, silky body, pronounced sweetness and a long, clean finish. A coffee that shows just what Parainema can achieve in José’s hands.
