Description
Arabica Gesha truly deserves its spot at the top of the global coffee world! Our Gesha was grown on the Finca Jerusalén farm—in the pristine Honduran jungle where coffee and nature are approached with respect and love. It’s cultivated in the wild among forest trees, palms, banana plants, citrus trees, and a plethora of greenery. This lush environment imparts a unique character to our coffee.
In the Black Honey processing method, a thin layer and a very small amount of the fruit’s pulp are removed, with fermentation occurring during drying. This fermentation with a high pulp content results in Gesha Black Honey having a pronounced aroma and sweeter, tangy, and more complex flavors.
With a score of 91 out of 100 points from experts at the Specialty Coffee Association, Gesha Black Honey is ranked among the most exceptional coffees in the world.
The coffee is not chemically treated, and no pesticides or other unnatural substances were used in its production.
