Farmer José Cuellár Fajardo spent nine months in the heart of the mountains. Each day he grew closer to his coffee forest, until a deep bond emerged between them. From this connection, an exceptional coffee was born – every batch carries the name of a rainforest inhabitant who became its patron.
Gesha Washed Mrs. Ardilla is fresh and playful. It has a light, bright body that reveals a tender floral note of chamomile, the citrusy vitality of lemongrass, the juicy accent of mandarin, and a warming touch of honey. It ripens on the mountain farm Finca Jerusalén, surrounded by rainforest, the rustling of treetops, and under the keen protection of its patroness – Mrs. Ardilla.

Honduras SHG EP Gesha Washed Mrs. Ardilla
This unique lot comes from the Honduran family farm Finca Jerusalén, founded in 1869 and now run by the fourth generation – José Cuellár Fajardo. The farm lies at an altitude of 1300–1650 m in the midst of a mountain rainforest. Ancient trees, fruit bushes, and rich wildlife create the perfect environment for growing specialty coffee – without chemicals and in harmony with nature.
Gesha Washed ripens slowly in the semi-shade of the rainforest, under the playful protection of its patroness – Mrs. Ardilla. It has a light, bright body that reveals a tender floral note of chamomile, the citrusy vitality of lemongrass, the juicy accent of mandarin, and a warming touch of honey.
Ebel Coffee brings it directly to the Czech Republic straight from the farm – without intermediaries and with fair compensation for local workers.
