coffee no one else haswhy a coffee auction matters?

Every package is one of a kind. From the farm straight to you.
We auction exceptional lots in limited quantities. No mass production – just unique coffee you won’t find anywhere else. The specialty coffee auction is a fair and fun way to connect coffee lovers with the people who grow it.

The customer sets the price.
Each auction starts at the lowest possible price. It’s up to you how much you’re willing to pay.

Coffee for everyone, not just the pros.
Auctions aren’t only for big buyers. We also offer 500g bags of roasted coffee, perfect for home brewing. Whether you use a V60, Chemex, or espresso machine, an unforgettable coffee experience awaits you.

Meaningful fun.
The auction supports fair compensation for the people on the farm, whose careful work and expertise are behind every cup of this exceptional coffee.

bid on a coffee treasureHow does a coffee auction work?

1. Take a look around first.
On the auction page and in the auction catalog, you can browse the coffees that are available.

2. Not sure which one to choose?
We’ve prepared a cupping set of samples for you! They’ll help you decide more easily which coffee is the right one for you.

3. Ready to join us? Register & get your access code!
To place bids in the auctions, you need a user account and an access code.
You’ll be prompted to enter the code automatically before accessing the details of each coffee.

Already have your Ebel Coffee account? Sign in!

4. Now just place your bids.
The auction starts at the lowest possible price. Each coffee has a set reserve price and a bid increment – the minimum amount by which you must raise the current bid. You can, however, bid more if you don’t want your dream coffee to slip away.

BID INCREMENT
The minimum amount by which you must increase the current bid when placing a bid. The bid increment is set by the auction organizer and may vary for different coffees. You can always find it listed in the details of each specific auction. You may bid more than the bid increment, but never less.

  • Example:
    • Starting price for Gesha Natural (500 g): 40,00 €
    • Bid increment: 8,00 €
First bid at least 48,00 € or higher

RESERVE PRICE
The minimum price at which the seller is willing to sell the coffee. If bids do not reach this amount during the auction, the coffee will not be sold, or it will be sold only with the seller’s consent after the auction. The reserve price is not disclosed during the auction – however, in the details of each auction, you will see whether the reserve has been met while bidding or not.

  • Example:
    • Starting price for Gesha Natural (500 g): 40,00 €
    • Reserve price set by the seller: 60,00 €
    • First bid: 48,00 € → reserve not met, coffee will not be sold
    • Second bid: 60,00 € → reserve met, coffee will be sold

FROM ČOKOBANKA
something for gourmets

Grand Cru among chocolates

Just like with coffee, terroir is
the key to a unique taste in chocolate
as well. Since 1884, the Bonnat family
has been discovering and processing
the rarest cocoa from around the world.
In 1983, Raymond Bonnat introduced
the first Grand Cru chocolates – made
from single-origin beans – and his son Stéphane continues the tradition
with masterful skill.

Stéphane personally travels
to plantations in South and Central
America as well as the Caribbean,
working closely with farmers
and reviving forgotten cocoa varieties.
Thanks to his care “from bean to bar,”
Bonnat chocolates win awards
at prestigious competitions and deliver
an authentic experience of each terroir.
